Interlaken

Interlaken as suggests is nested between two lakes - Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. It is not just a beautiful town but also a starting point of Mount Jungfrau excursion. One can view three gorgeous peaks JungfrauEiger and Monch from this town. Being located in the center of Switerlandthis is also a point of stay to cover north and south side of Switzerland. You have adventure sports such as paragliding and sky diving in and near Interlaken.

Lucerne is one of the most beautiful city of Switzerland located on the banks of Lake Lucerne. This is a starting point of excursions such as Mount Pilatus and Mount Titlis.

Itinerary

Day 1 Interlaken

Arrive at Zurich and proceed to Interlaken by train

Arrive at Zurich airport. After immigration, proceed to Zurich Flughafen [airport] station. Using your pre-validated Swiss pass proceed to Interlaken via Bern / Lucerne. Arrive at Interlaken and walk down to your hotel. Day is free to explore scenic hill town of Interlaken which is nestled between two lakes - Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. You may just stroll along the street connecting Interlaken East and West towns, or may opt for a horse carriage ride, or take a funicular to Harder Kulm to have a great views of Alps. 

Day 2 Interlaken

Mount Jungfrau Excursion

Today proceed to Interlaken OST station either by walk or train. Show your Swiss pass, passport and Jungfrau excursion voucher at the ticket counter and get tickets for cog wheel train. Proceed to Lauterbrunnen and then start climbing Alps using cog wheel train. As you climb further, green meadows get converted into white snowy slopes. You shall get down at Kline Schidegg station where you shall board another cog wheel train to Top of Europe - Mount Jungfau. Enjoy views of Mountian peak of Eiger and Jungfrau from the Sphinx and be amazed by the iternal snow of the glacier. Take a tour of Ice Palace and film on building of Mountain rail. While descending, arrive at Kline Schidegg and take another route and arrive at Grindelwald town. This route will give you glimpses of Eiger valley. Spend some time in Grindelwald by exploring tiny shops and restaurants. Evening return to Interlaken by train.  

Day 3 Interlaken

Interlaken - Lucerne - City tour

Board a train and arrive at Lucerne. Proceed to Hotel and check in after 1400 Hrs. This city is located along the Lake Lucerne. In the evening visit Kappelbruck Bridge, Transport Museum, Lion monument. Evening return back to Hotel. Stay overnight at Lucerne.

Day 4 Lucerne

Mt Titlis

Board a train and arrive at Lucerne and then to Engelberg. Just walk for 10 Mins and arrive at cable car station. Enjoy this breath taking journey to the top and arrive at Mount Titlis by 360 degree rotating cable car Rotair.  Enjoy chairlift ride and if you dare take a walk along the cliff bridge. Return to Lucerne.

Day 4 Lucerne

Engelberg - Mount Titlis - Bern

Today proceed by train to Engeberg by train. From Engelberg station, Titlis cable car station is just 10 mins walk. Show your vouchers of Titlis cable car and enjoy cable ride to top of Titlis. Last ride of cable car is by Rotair which is a revolving cable car. Enjoy chairlift ride at the top. Enjoy snow and great views of Alps from the peak. You may take cliff walk which is an adventurous walk on a suspension bridge. Return to Engelberg town by cable car. Engleberg is a scenic village located at the foothills of Mount Titlis. Enjoy a stroll along this village and then take a train to Bern - a capital city.  

Visit Old town of Bern which is famous for its cobbled streets, old European charm, Clock tower and weird fountains. You may also visit Einsteins house. Enjoy local street delicacies such as Churros and Crepe. You may also visit Gurten a local hill to have a panoramic view of the city. You need to take a funicular to reach at the top. On the top there is a mini train, toboggan, well maintain garden and childrens play park. 

Day 5 Lucerne

Lucerne - Paris

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Paris by train. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Check in at the hotel after 1400 Hrs. Evening free at leisure to enjoy the city. Overnight at Paris

Day 6 Paris

Paris city tour with Eiffel tower and Seine river cruise

Today proceed to nearest hop On Hop off bus stop on your own. Board this bus and start exploring Paris. Pass through Champs Elysees, Place De La Concorde, Montparnasse, Notre Dam Cathedral, Louvre museum and then Eiffel tower. Visit 3rd level of Eiffel tower as per given time slot. [3rd level Eiffel tower ticket is subject to availability]. Enjoy great views of the city from the tower and you may return by staircase or lift. Then proceed to Seine river cruise starting point which is just besides Eiffel tower. Enjoy scenic cruise along the river with live commentary. Evening you may take optional Lido show which is extravagant show of dance, costumes, lights and music. Return to your hotel on your own.

Day 7 Paris

Paris to Amsterdam by Train / Flight

Check out and proceed to Paris station / airport and board a train / flight to Amsterdam. On arrival at Amsterdam we shall transfer you to hotel by Pvt vehicle. Day is free to explore Amsterdam on your own. Evening enjoy 1 hour canal cruise to get the glimpse of this canal city.

Day 8 Amsterdam

Volendam, Marken and Windmill Tour

Proceed to 5 hour tour of countryside of Holland. Visit Island of Marken. In this village you will visit a clogmaker and explore this traditional Dutch village. Besides Marken you shall also visit Volendam, where there is time for the Cheese factory and for lunch or shopping. Another part of the tour is the windmill village de Zaanse Schans, with its characteristic green wooden houses. On the turn of the 18th century this district was an industrial area with approximately 700 windmills in use. In this day and age there are only five left. You also shall enjoy the 1 Hour Canal Cruise. Overnight at Amsterdam.

Day 8 Amsterdam

Excursion to Volendam, Marken and Windmill Tour

Every year, Keukenhof changes the design of its gardens based on a unique theme. Enjoy the peace and tranquility in this one-of-a-kind, enchanting tulip garden.

VISIT A BULB FARM!

A tour of a real bulb farm is the perfect way to complete your trip to Keukenhof. During your time at the bulb farm, you will be able to learn about the history and methods used to harvest the plants, told by the farmers themselves. The bulb farm is also the perfect opportunity to photograph the surreal, impressionist landscape of the tulip fields from up close, as these are normally inaccessible to the public.

Day 9 Amsterdam
